What did you enjoy most about your experience with A Little Something White?

I absolutely loved working with Ashley the owner of A Little Something White. My experience there was more then I could have ever imagined. From the atmosphere, to the way they accommodated my family and friends. They made us feel right at home. I never once felt pressured to purchase a dress compared to other experiences I had at other bridal shops. They have excellent customer service, knowledge and truly care about each bride.

How did you and your husband meet?

Ryan and I went to Fairfield High School together. He was a Freshman when I was a Senior. We were in Spanish class together which I don’t really remember, but he certainly does.

My friend Shelly years later started working with him and asked if I remembered him from high school. I said, “Of course I do, but when he was 12.” She said, “Well you have to see him now.” She invited Ryan last minute in for her birthday celebration in NYC because we were all going out for dinner. At that time I was living in NYC. That night we hit it off and became inseparable ever since. Needless to say I moved back to CT.  🙂

How and where did you get engaged?

Ryan proposed to me on my birthday on May 17, 2014. He was taking me on a helicopter tour of lower Manhattan. Right before we got on, we stopped to take a picture and he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. It certainly was one of the greatest days of my life and I will never ever forget it!!!

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

My favorite part was definitely the ceremony in the church and that moment when I walked down the aisle with my Dad and Ryan saw me for the fist time and I saw him. It was truly magical and such an emotional moment. The day really goes too fast so that part really stuck with me.

What surprised you most about shopping for a bridal gown?

I had an idea of what I thought I wanted. I tried on a ton of styles. I ended up with a silhouette I didn’t think I would go with and it was the second dress I tried. I could not be happier with my decision with my Liancarlo gown. 🙂

If you could give a piece of advice to a bride going through the process now, what would it be?

Try EVERYTHING on. Even styles you are like no way! Your family and friends are going to want you to try on styles for them. Do it! Just remember at the end that it is YOUR day and only YOUR decision matters. Do what makes you feel the most beautiful and happy!!!!
