Bridal gowns are made-to-order, meaning the designer creates the gown when you place the order. Because of this, bridal gowns have a 4-6 month production time. Additionally, all bridal gowns require some degree of tailoring to achieve the correct fit, therefore you should factor in an additional 2 months for the alterations process. Therefore, we recommend ordering your bridal gown at least 8-10 months in advance. This is the minimum amount of time required to make sure the ordering and alterations process works as smoothly as possible. Rush orders can be accommodated for an additional charge.
A 60% deposit is required for all made-to-order bridal gown orders and is non-refundable. Payment in full is required for the purchase of an off-the-rack bridal gown and is non-refundable.
The standard production time for bridesmaids and flower girl dresses can be up to 4 months, and alterations are almost always required. Most seamstresses require 4 weeks for alterations on bridesmaid and flower girl dresses. Therefore, we recommend ordering the dresses at least 5 months in advance. Rush orders can be accommodated for an additional charge.
Payment in full is required for all bridesmaids dress orders and is non-refundable.
The standard production time for accessories varies depending on designer but can be up to 3 months. We recommend ordering your accessories at least 3 to 4 months in advance of your wedding to make sure that they arrive in time. Rush orders can be accommodated for an additional charge.
Payment in full is required for all accessories orders and is non-refundable.
At A Little Something White Bridal Couture, we are dedicated to providing you with exceptional service and an extraordinary experience. Our team is incredibly knowledgeable about our products and adept at finding something you love within your budget. Additionally, we are committed to offering a wide range of styles across a variety of price points. The designers we carry expressly prohibit us from discounting their bridal gowns, attendant dresses, or accessories. If you have your heart set on a particular style that is out of your price range, we are confident that we will be able to offer you a variety of alternatives that you will love. Additionally, we host several designer-specific events during the year where the designer themselves will offer discounts as well as sample sales, where you can purchase sample gowns (which have gentle use from being tried on by brides) at a deep discount. If you have any questions about this policy, please do not hesitate to ask us.
Measurements & Sizing
Most of our designers produce their gowns or dresses according to their own specific size chart, meaning we will take several measurements and order the size that corresponds most closely to those measurements. In the instance where a bride’s measurements fall between sizes, we generally recommend ordering the larger size. This is because it is easier to make a gown smaller during the alterations process but very difficult to make it larger. For all orders, we require every customer to provide a signed acknowledgement for the size being ordered.
Because all of our gowns, dresses, and accessories are custom made, all sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be accepted.
