What did you enjoy most about your experience with A Little Something White?

I found the whole team to be incredibly genuine in their approach in helping me find the most important piece of clothing I’ll ever wear. I went into the salon with a stack of photographs of dresses I liked, and Amber quickly convinced me that I would likely end up in something totally different — and she was right. Ashley was so easy as a business owner to work with and Bridget did a fantastic job with my alterations.

How did you and your husband meet?

At Waccabuc Country Day Camp when we were 3! Friends all through our childhood, even better friends all through our twenties, and finally gave it a shot at 30. We went on one “date” and moved in together.

How and where did you get engaged?

We went to St. Martin in the French West Indies for a long weekend. Sean and I went to our hotel bar for a drink before dinner at sunset, and we ordered our drinks then Sean took me out to the balcony overlooking the ocean, got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Easiest and best decision I ever made was to say YES!

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

Standing up at the altar in front of all of our family and closest friends, pledging to love, honor and cherish Sean for all the days of my life.

What surprised you most about shopping for your bridal gown?

How different the gown was that I chose from what I thought I wanted!

If you could give a piece of advice to a bride going through the process now, what would it be?

Don’t overanalyze – the longer the engagement, the longer you will have to change your mind a hundred times. Stick with your gut and bring your most trusted girls to give you their opinion on your dress!
