What did you enjoy most about your experience with A Little Something White?
I loved every single minute of my experience with A Little Something White. It is hard to say what I enjoyed most, however I felt like everyone here goes above and beyond with their brides to make sure they find their magical dress like I did. The whole experience was very caring, personal and accommodating. I will never forget the feeling I felt when I found my dress with Kim Major and my wedding coordinator Kelsey Rae Designs, I cried tears of joy in a dress that was 5 sizes too big for me but I knew it was the dress I was looking for. The whole experience was wonderful from Kim offering us a glass of champagne to mark the occasion to Bridget the amazing seamstress who fixed my beautiful dress.
How and where did you get engaged?
Shaun came over to visit me in London, England over the festive period in 2013. We had been in a long-distance (USA-England) relationship for a year and a half at this point. We decided to go on one of our Sunday morning walks in the park, as it was a beautiful morning. We walked to Primrose Hill, which has the most beautiful and breathtaking views of London City. We found a bench to relax on for a while, after a few minutes of talking he got down on one knee and proposed with the utmost gorgeous ring that he designed for me.
What surprised you most about shopping for your bridal gown?
I was looking for an intricate, delicate lace dress with an intriguing front detail and cut out back. I was surprised how difficult it was to find a dress that I liked or had all three components. I searched in London, New York, Florida and Connecticut. I was surprised that the process of finding a dress is actually quite an emotional experience, especially in the beginning when I couldn’t find anything I liked and then my wedding coordinator took me to A little Something White! The quality of the dresses are incomparable.
If you could give a piece of advice to a bride going through the process now, what would it be?
Be patient, persevere, take a friend, find a great wedding coordinator and visit A Little Something White.
