"IF I COULD RELIVE ANY MOMENT FROM MY WEDDING DAY, IT WOULD BE THE FIRST DANCE!" -LAUREN

THE INSPIRATION! Nestled in the Elizabeth Park Gardens, this space is a perfect backdrop for a garden inspired wedding, from the floral watercolor bridesmaids dresses to the lanterns accented with garden roses and ranunculus carried by the maids instead of traditional bouquets!

THE FIRST LOOK! Tucked in a quaint garden, the bride tapped her groom on the shoulder for the grand reveal of her simple chiffon Sadoni gown and pencil edged veil!

How clever are the floral lanterns instead of a bouquet!

THE CEREMONY! With a pond backdrop and cobble stone lined aisle the couple looked so at peace with their family + friends surrounding them.

Q&A
WITH ALSW BRIDE LAUREN///

What did you love most about working with A Little Something White Bridal?

A Little Something White was the first and last bridal boutique I went to. I was never fully excited about planning a wedding, so naturally I had no idea what I was doing. I had a budget that I really wanted to keep, and Liz picked out the most simple dress that I thought I was going to hate. Well, I felt like a princess, my mom cried, and I knew in that moment that it was going to be my dress. She also picked out my veil and headpiece. All and all, the best part about A Little Something White was that they made me comfortable and really did all the work for me. I felt beautiful!

What would you recommend to a new bride beginning her gown shopping?

To any new bride, per my experience, try on all the dresses! You go in loving one style and walk out with something way more suited for you.

THE DETAILS! Find your succulent - find your seat.

Q&A! WITH ALSW BRIDE LAUREN///

How did you meet your husband?

I met my husband at a gym, he was a personal trainer + will take it to his grave that I approached him for his number. (That didn't happen, he totally asked me for mine!) Either way, we hit it off, but the timing just wasn't right at the time. Years later he asked me on a date. We went out for chicken parmigiana (haha) and I swear I fell in love with him immediately. The rest is history!!

///

How did he propose to you?

In January 2017, I dropped a 45 pound weight on my foot at the gym. It hurt like hell. I was put in a boot and couldn't divulge in anything super fun for quite some time. Ahmad seemingly couldn't wait to propose, so he got down on one knee while I was cooking dinner on a random Tuesday night. He then woo'ed me with is killer dance moves to "Lady in Red."

THE PARTY! Dining tables lined in lush garden roses, greenery + soft neutral linens!

Q&A! WITH ALSW BRIDE LAUREN///

What was going through your mind as you walked down the aisle?

Walking down the aisle was just like I had imagined. I remember looking ahead at Ahmad and lovingly smiling back at him. It all seemed so surreal.

If you could go back and relive a moment from your wedding day, what would it be?

If I could relive any moment from my wedding day, it would probably be the first dance. That was a once in a lifetime moment that I will never forget, but would do 50 times over again. It was the best day of my life.
